'it's always someone else's sister, mother or daughter. until it happens to us'
tak sangka, selama ini cuma dengar cerita-cerita bos yang kena ragut (tiga kali) dan orang lain. kawan baik sendiri hampir kene rompak.
pagi semalam, kes ragut jadi depan mata sendiri.

;) selamat malam.

Body language
I have nice colleagues, alhamdulillah. Once of them is this petite lady who goes by the name Hani. She's really cute, even shorter than me. We became colleagues a few months ago and I have been going out for lunches with her.
A few months later, we started going out for lunch with another set of friends; this time guys. It's not that we don't want to go out for lunch with other people but we seem to click. One of our colleagues is Ridz, a friend that I've gotten to know before he started working at the company.
Ridz may have been cute (especially to Hani) but that's not really my type of guy. Plus, he is younger. And Hani started talking about how cute he is and nice and about him being fashionable. Believe me, work place is so much like high school, I kid you not. Hani's fascination over Ridz is so cute, methinks. And soon, Hani started making coffee at the same time Ridz did, followed him on his social media accounts and whatnot. They chatted a few times on the phone too.
There are five of us; two females and three males. So, it's always these people going to the same lunchplace except on Fridays when they guys had to perform their Jumaat prayers.
One day, one of the guys teased Hani and Ridz. He intentionally asked Ridz if he arrived early in the morning before saying 'Eh, sorry! I meant Hani!' and laughed. Hani stared in horror while I just chuckle at myself.
You see, Hani would never dream of telling the other guys that she likes Ridz. No, that cannot happen; that's just bloody suicide. She did confide in me though, naturally. However, one of the guys noticed. How? It's very hard to mask body language. It's the added spring in your steps, extra excitement on your face and the eyes. The eyes definitely cannot lie. For a split second, there was gladness to see the other person, a definite glint that someone can see from afar. One of the guys may have seen it.
You can tell a lot by observing someone. It is true that action speaks louder than words. To others, it may be so obvious that you are trying very hard to hide your excitement when seeing the other person. But to you, maybe you have tried your hardest to show that you are not too excited with the other person.
Try again. It's hard to lie. Especially the eyes. Ah yes, that applies to men too ;)

:)
the last time i wrote here was about eight months ago. eight months...that was a long duration. one might have finished a whole semester. me? i closed a chapter of my life. it was not easy but alhamdulillah.
i might have met someone that will be ready to help me go through life. that certain person has always been there, my ups and downs, my laughter and tears. it's just that i've never realised it when he was there all along.
when i was sad, he will always be there to listen. back then, i was grateful. these days, i praise God everyday because he will always be there to make me laugh.
you will be surprised how a simple photo can make you smile all day.
ah this is too long. it's just a simple hi! after a long hiatus. so dina, continue to watch this space :)
